Latest Updates from Our Project:

Surveys!!!
over 9 years ago – Mon, Aug 17, 2015 at 12:20:24 PM

We will be sending an email with a special link to BackerKit surveys today. It is important that when you receive the survey, you get it back to us as quickly as you can. Our ability to make an order depends on receiving this information. Filling out your BackerKit survey will help out our project tremendously, and help us get your rewards out to you quicker. You do not need to make a login and password to fill out your survey, just fill it out and you’re all good to go!

In the BackerKit survey, please answer the questions we have regarding your pledge, shipping information, paying for international shipping if you forgot, and if you want you can even order more items or “add-ons”. You do not have access to this link yet, but it will be available soon via email!

If you’ve decided later that you filled out something wrong in the survey, you can go back and change it anytime before we announce the cut off date for changes.

If you use your Facebook login for your Kickstarter account, the BackerKit invite will be sent to the email you used for your Facebook account. If you have another email you prefer it to be sent to, please email [email protected].

Thanks for all your help,
The Cubit Team

Work Continues!
over 9 years ago – Mon, Aug 10, 2015 at 11:56:18 PM

It's been a month since the end of our campaign and we are hard at work putting the finishing touches on Cubit! A lot of what we are improving has come from the feedback we got during the Kickstarter campaign and from our continued testing with the public.

Cubit Workshop Updates

Progress on Cubit Workshop is occurring at breakneck speeds. We are incorporating as many of the feature requests from the campaign and from our testing as we can. We are especially focused on getting new users comfortable working in Cubit Workshop and teaching new users as much as we can about programming and electronics principles. New features include:

Source Code Viewer and Highlighter
This was a highly requested feature during the campaign and we have made it a reality. Watch the Lua code update as you drag in blocks, connect wires, choose colors, and change values. Learn about traditional coding as you use Cubit Workshop's visual UI.

Automatic Value Conversion
Cubit Workshop is a smart tool. It knows what value ranges every block takes. Are you linking up the raw 0-1023 value of a sensor to the 0-255 value of a motor? Cubit Workshop recognizes that and can automatically scale the values for you.

New In-Tool Interactive Tutorial System
Cubit Workshop will walk you through your first few Cubit projects! The Tutorial system shows you how to connect wires, create blocks, change data, and introduces new users to the basics of electronics and programming!

These are just the big and flashy features. There have been countless other improvements under the hood and to the user interface.

Pre-Sales now available!

If you know someone who is interested in Cubit, but missed out on the Kickstarter campaign, send them to http://qfusionlabs.com/. We will be expanding our Pre-Order site over the coming weeks. Kickstarter backers will be receiving the first kits of course!

Backer Surveys

We are going to send out a comprehensive backer survey over the coming weeks. For all of our Mix and Match Backers, the survey will be your opportunity to let us know what Cubit Smartwares we will be shipping out to you!

Thank you all again and if you have feedback, we want to hear it!

Sincerely,
The Cubit Team

We did it!
over 9 years ago – Mon, Jul 13, 2015 at 11:18:30 AM

Thanks to you and the rest of our 623 backers, we raised over $105,000 and crushed our initial funding goal of $50,000! The Cubit Team is very excited to finalize the Cubit family for manufacturing and to bring Cubit into your hands! We couldn’t have done this without your support! Expect a survey from us in the coming weeks so we can collect shipping information and get your selected Smartware for the Mix and Match kits.

We will continue to provide regular updates every step of the way and would welcome any feedback you have to polish Cubit into the perfect fit for your ideas and inventions.

Thank you for bringing Cubit to life!

Ecstatically,

The Cubit Team

Cubit was recently featured on the The New Screen Savers! Leo and The Screen Savers crew are back! They discuss the latest and greatest technology and Cubit fits that bill. Jason got to take the Screen Savers crew in-depth on Cubit. Check it out:

We are getting close to our 100K stretch goal: the Android Control App. Let your friends, family, and coworkers know about Cubit and let’s smash this next goal too!
